Custom systems, integrations and app builds for UK businesses that have outgrown the spreadsheet. Written in Huddersfield. Documented well enough that your next developer will not need us.
Nextzpmsoft is run by Zpm Solutions Ltd. Dan started it in 2019, after a year spent unpicking a stock system for a manufacturer in Brighouse. The original developer had gone quiet. There were no tests, no notes, and one man in Leeds who half-remembered how the pricing rules worked.
It took eleven weeks to make a change that should have taken an afternoon. That job decided what this one would be.
Most of this trade bills for the build and goes quiet at handover. We think the handover is the product. So we write the documentation first and bill it as a deliverable, not as admin.
Every project ends with a walkthrough for your own team and a repository they can read without us in the room. Nine of our fifty-one builds have been rescues of somebody else's work, which is the other half of the same argument.
We turn down work we could not still support in three years' time. It costs us jobs every quarter. It is the only thing that makes the sentence above worth anything.
Two on back-end, two on front-end, one designer, and one who takes the awkward jobs nobody volunteers for.
Fifty-one projects finished. Nine of them were somebody else's code before they were ours.
Clients in Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield. One in Aberdeen who has never once come down.
Whoever quotes your job writes it. You will have the developer's name and their direct line.
Tap the ones that sound like your problem — they will tick themselves in the enquiry form further down.
The system the business actually runs on: orders, stock, jobs, rotas, quotes. Built around your process rather than bent to fit a template's.
Marketing sites, product catalogues and editorial builds, with an admin your staff can use on a Tuesday morning without ringing us.
iOS and Android. One codebase where that is honest, two where it isn't — we will tell you which before you commit.
Getting your accounts package talking to the warehouse, the till talking to the stockroom, and both of them talking to the thing you bought last year that speaks to nothing.
Someone else's code, no documentation, nobody left who wrote it. We map it, cover it in tests, then make it safe to change. Nine done so far.
Architecture reviews, technical due diligence, and second opinions before you sign a six-figure contract with somebody else.
Every figure is a starting point. The price is fixed in writing after the scoping call and never after work has begun. Ongoing support and maintenance runs from £550 a month.
Ninety minutes, no charge, with the person who would write the code. You leave with a scope and a number, not a brochure.
A document detailed enough to hand to another firm. Some clients have. We would rather lose the job here than at the end of it.
Something working every two weeks on a URL you can open from your phone. No demo days, no theatre, no progress bars.
Written documentation, a walkthrough with your own team, and thirty days in which you can ask anything at all for nothing.
Then we will tell you what it costs, in writing, before anybody opens an editor. If it is not work we can support in three years, we will say so on the call and point you somewhere better.
Write down what is going wrong now and what it costs you. We will come back within one working day with either a scoping call or an honest referral.

We do not collect special category data, and we do not ask for payment details through this website.
To reply to your enquiry, to prepare a scope or quotation, to carry out work you engage us for, and to keep the records the law requires of us. We do not use your data for profiling or automated decision-making, and we do not send marketing to people who have only made an enquiry.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We share it only with our email and business hosting providers acting as processors under written terms, with our accountants where a record is relevant, and with a public authority where we are legally required to.
Our email and hosting suppliers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses. You may ask us for details of the safeguards in place.
Access to enquiry data is limited to the members of staff who need it. Accounts are protected by multi-factor authentication and devices are encrypted at rest.
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to be informed; the right of access to a copy of your data; the right to rectification of inaccurate data; the right to erasure; the right to restrict processing; the right to data portability; the right to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests; and rights relating to automated decision-making, which we do not carry out. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We will respond within one month.
Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting processing carried out before you withdrew it. For cookies, clear this website's storage in your browser and the banner will ask again.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF — telephone 0303 123 1113, ico.org.uk.
This website sets no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The only item stored is a single browser entry, zpm_cookies, recording your Accept or Decline choice so the banner does not reappear. Full detail is in the Cookie Policy within our Terms.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. This version replaces any earlier version.
These terms are between you and Zpm Solutions Ltd, registered in England & Wales under company number 17307030, registered office 47 Highcroft Crescent, Huddersfield, HD5 8NF. Contact: [email protected], +44 7473 992 425. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Zpm Solutions Ltd; "this website" means the website published at nextzpmsoft.uk.
These terms cover your use of this website and any enquiry you make through it. Work we carry out for you is governed by a separate written engagement letter and scope document, which takes precedence over these terms where the two differ.
We provide custom software development, website and content platform builds, mobile application development, systems integration and API work, legacy system modernisation, and technical consultancy.
Nothing is ordered or paid for on this website. You send an enquiry through the form, by email, or by telephone. We then hold a scoping call, issue a written scope and a fixed price, and work begins only once you have accepted that scope in writing. Prices shown on this website are indicative starting points and are not offers capable of acceptance.
A quotation is valid for 30 days from issue unless it states otherwise. Prices are quoted exclusive of VAT where VAT applies. Additional work outside an agreed scope is quoted separately and started only on your written approval.
No payment is taken through this website. We invoice after the engagement is agreed, normally in staged payments against the milestones in the scope. Invoices are payable within 14 days by bank transfer. We may charge statutory interest on late payment under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 where the client is a business.
You agree to give us the access, information, content and decisions the scope depends on, and to nominate one person who can approve work. Delays caused by outstanding approvals move the delivery dates by the same period.
If you are a consumer rather than a business, you have the right to cancel a contract made at a distance within 14 days of entering it, without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Tell us by email at [email protected]. If you asked us to start work within that period, you must pay for what we have already done, in proportion to the whole contract. Business clients may cancel at any time in writing and pay for work completed and irrevocably committed to that date.
Where a cancellation right applies and no work has begun, we refund in full within 14 days of being told, by the same method used to pay. Where work has begun, we refund the balance after deducting the value of work already carried out. If we cannot deliver an agreed milestone, you may reject it and we will either correct it at our cost or refund that milestone.
On full payment, the copyright in the bespoke code and designs written specifically for you transfers to you. Third-party components, open-source libraries and any pre-existing tools of ours remain with their owners and are licensed to you for use in the delivered work. Content and materials on this website remain ours.
We will carry out the services with reasonable care and skill as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982. We correct defects reported within 30 days of handover at no charge where they arise from our work.
We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that may not lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees paid under it, and we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or loss of data that was not backed up in accordance with our written advice. Nothing here affects the statutory rights of a consumer.
We keep your commercial information confidential and use it only to carry out the work. Where we process personal data on your behalf we do so under a written processing agreement. Our handling of your own personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Please raise any complaint by email in the first instance to [email protected]; we respond within five working days. These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this website on the date of your enquiry.
A cookie, or a similar item of browser storage, is a small piece of data a website keeps in your browser. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 we may only use non-essential ones with your consent.
This website loads no analytics, no advertising and no social media tracking, and it embeds no third-party content that could set a cookie. Nothing changes about what is stored whether you accept or decline; declining simply records that preference.
You can clear this website's storage at any time through your browser settings, after which the banner will ask again. Blocking storage entirely will not stop the site working.
